V.B.S. is over and I am releived and sad. Releived because I don't have to run around crazy all the time but sad because I won't be going to church everyday anymore. My grandma made it through surgery allright but the recovery has been very hard for her. Yesturday, they took the IV out because her vein wasn't working anymore. They didn't get it going again for two hours and that meant she didn't have her pain medicine for that long. Then today she had a bad reaction to the pain medicine. She told them no more pain medicine but she had so much in her already that it kept affecting her all day. She got violently sick but luckily it was right when her doctor came to check up on her so he saw how it affected her. The other bad part is that it is rumored that the nurses are suppose to go on strike for who knows how many millionth time this year tonight in thirty minutes. My sister has been staying at the hospital every night with her and knows how to take care of her in case that does happen. I will have to tell you more later.
