This past week has been crazy. I have been working on a research paper on thyroid dysfunction and depression all week. I just finished it about an hour ago. I am so glad it is out of the way. Now I have time to catch up in my other classes. I went thursday and saturday to the play "THE Curious Savage". Saw most of you there on saturday. I think the play was great and some of you should have been there to see it. For those who didn't see it here is a synopses: Mrs. Savage's husband died. she wants to set up a memorial in his name to let people have a chance to do foolish things. her step children do not like this and get her committed. she spends her time in the psychiatric ward getting to know her fellow inmates and messing with her step children. they discover that she has sold of there businesses and now has ten million dollar bonds hidden away. when they confront her she takes them all aside and tell them where to look for the bonds. this way they can look like fools when they do not find the money. it turns out the bonds are in a teddy bear she keeps with her at all times. when she shows the step children the bonds and lays them on a table the lights go out and come back on to find the bonds gone. they spend time trying to see who took them. they think it was one of the patients mrs. patty but find the bonds burned in a tub. the step children leave defeated and mrs. savage is to be released. all the patients go to find her a present an present their presents to her (a napkin, a salt shaker, a button). then as they leave to go to the garden they all say they love her in their own way and mrs. patty speaks for the first time to tell mrs. savage she loves her. the nurse comes in to lead mrs. savage out an gives her the bonds which she had taken when the lights went out. the play ends with mrs. savage walking out and see the patients exactly as they see themselves (a great painter, a great violinist, a great pianist, a beautiful woman, having a five year old child, and having a husband who knows her).
I went friday to the ant eater's ball which was so good. i think they would make even more money if they taped it and sold the dvd's. I know i would have bought one. the ball was up there with singarama and tau phi cowboy show.
news from the sister front: my sister has been having some troubles with one of her stalkers. he has returned with avengence. he called and accused her of telling others he is evil and bad. she had warned people that he is strange. he demanded she tell him who all she had told these lies to . she ended up reporting him to campus safety again. she got a call on thursday from the dean wanting to see her. she went in to see him on friday. he told her he would tell the boy to stop and leave her alone and that she should file a complaint with the police. she didn't want to for fear of getting the boy in trouble. well yesterday the boy called my mom to see what my sister was up to. my mom believes he was just trying to manipulate her. after they hung up my mom called my sister's fiance to let him know. from her conversation with the boy she believed he had my sister's schedule memorized and would escalate his behavior. my sister's fiance told my mom to call the dean. my mom did and the dean told her that even though he can't tell her how he is handaling it or what he will be discussing with the boy on monday he can tell her that he is taking it very seriously. when she was done talking to the dean she called my sister's fiance to tell him what the dean said. my sister's fiance told my mom that they have a security guard watching my sister at all time to ensure her safety. then my mom decided to check on how my sister was. apparently my sister has been receiving phone calls ending in someone hanging up when she answers. on another note, my sister is planning to have her wedding this coming may 27th. i think she is crazy.
